Michael Harbaugh II passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was 38. Michael was born to Mike and Michelle Harbaugh on August 4, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was a hard worker. After attending Blue Springs High School, he started a career in construction. Later he successfully owned and operated Harbaugh Roofing and Contracting for over 10 years. Even in his spare time he maintained the position as a project manager for his mother’s company, 24/7 Enviro Solutions for many years. Michael learned at a young age that he enjoyed fixing things and was always there to lend a hand. Michael loved his family fiercely. He’d look forward to family float trips, cheering on his nephews in everything they did, taking care of those he loved and making people laugh. Michael had a witty sense of humor, a smile that would light up a room and the most beautiful blue eyes you’d ever seen. He was fearless, never took a day forgranted and loved his life. Michael’s presence will forever be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle Harbaugh; father, Michael Harbaugh (Sheri); beloved sister and best friend, Tiffany Harbaugh; nephews, James, Isaac, Braylon and Marley Noland; niece, MiAna Noland; bonus child, Jamison Sims; grandparents, Max Gray (Marilyn), William Harbaugh (Barbara) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his furry companions, Gotti and Myla.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26th from 5-8pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. His Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, May 27th at 11am at the Redeemer Fellowship Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
