Zelia Harber

Zelia Harber, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, 79, formerly of Independence, MO went to be with Jesus, surrounded by loved ones on November 3, 2018. Visitation will be from 9-10 am Saturday, November 10, 2018 followed by funeral services at 10am at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will take place in Blue Springs Cemetery. Zelia was born on February 24, 1939 in Yellville, Arkansas to Lelah and Mac Shipman. She then later met the love of her life, Gene and they were married On April 17, 1960. She spent her life raising their four children and devoted her time to her grandkids, traveling and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, her parents, 5 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by daughters Ramona Stubler and her husband Victor and Tonia R. Harber-Anderson; sons Tim Harber and his wife Kathy and Kevin Harber and his wife Tessica; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
