Charlotte Aleen Harder

Charlotte Aleen Harder, 75, of Independence, MO, passed away, Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2004 at Village Heights Community of Christ Church in Independence, MO. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday January 13, 2004 at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, IA. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Charlotte was born November 18, 1928 in Hampton, Iowa to Thomas Edward and Edna Bernice (Andrews) Rooks. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Harder was a member of the Village Heights Community of Christ, R.S.V.P in Chillicothe, MO, the Laurel Club at the Community of Christ Auditorium and a tour guide for the Community of Christ Temple. She was married to Jay McVicker, he passed away in 1989, she then married Peter Harder, he passed away in 2002.. She is survived by: a son, Denny McVicker of Mankato, MN; 3 daughters, Linda Price of Lowell MI, Leigh McVicker of Denver, CO and Jean Berry of Hamilton, MO; a sister, Virginia Davis of Conoga Park, CA; 4 grandchildren; Bill Mason, Jennifer Coolidge, Lisa McVicker and Todd McVicker; 4 great grandchildren, Kyle Mason, Marlois Mason, Mykah Mason and Sarah Mason.
