Edith Hare

Edith Lorraine Hare, 87 of Paola, KS passed away Wed. May 24, 2006. Graveside services will be 12:30 pm, Tue. May 30, 2006 at Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the givers charity of choice. Ms. Hare was born on Nov. 29, 1918 to Luther and Mary Hare in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from East High School and had worked for American Battery Manufacturing, G.W. Ryan Dist. Co. and Hoover Brothers. She was Past President of K.C. Wholesale Credit Women�s Club and had belonged to the Rebekah Lodge and was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Edith enjoyed playing the piano for family and friends and will be remembered for her gentle nature and pleasant smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Eaber Hare and sister Beulah Graves. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Golden Hare; nephews Linn and Louis Hare; nieces Susan Fiske and Ann DeVore. A special thanks to her neighbors, Nancy and Nina and her Vintage Park Family.
