A lifelong educator, Harold dedicated his career to shaping young minds and inspiring countless students during his many years as a school teacher in the North Kansas City School District. His passion for teaching and commitment to his students left a lasting impact, and he was respected and admired by all who had the privilege of learning from him.

When summer arrived, Harold would trade his classroom for a tool belt, taking on all sorts of handyman projects to help those in need. His skills were vast, and he loved lending a hand—whether it was fixing a leaky faucet, painting a fence, or helping a neighbor with any task needing attention. His generosity of spirit knew no bounds.

Above all, Harold was a devoted family man. He loved his children more than words can express and worked tirelessly to provide for them, always making sure they knew they were his greatest pride and joy. As a husband to Betty Lou, he was a loving and supportive partner, and their bond was the heart of his world. His family was everything to him, and his love for them will live on forever in their hearts.

Harold was also a man who was loved by many friends. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering loyalty created friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was ornery at times but that is why his friends loved him so much. With Harold sharing a laugh, offering a word of wisdom, or simply being there for those who needed him, Harold had a way of making people feel valued and appreciated. His favorite holiday with Halloween. He loved pulling pranks on friends and family and dressing up in costume and scaring people.

Harold’s life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him but will live on in the many lives he touched.
