Arlene M. Harrington

Arlene M. Harrington, 74, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10 am Saturday, August 28th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to Raytown VFW Post 4242, 6419 Railroad St, Raytown, MO 64133. Arlene was born August 20, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to Edward and Opal Murray. She worked for the Kansas City Public Schools for nearly 30 years, retiring as Cafeteria Manager. She was a member of the Raytown VFW Auxiliary, Post 4242, and a member of the Blue Ridge Community of Christ. Arlene is survived by her son, David Harrington of Independence, MO; daughter, Diane McAlerney of Lowry City, MO; grandchildren, Lacie Cooper, Janet Rush, Karen Brown, Kendra Harrington; six great grandchildren; brother, Ralph Murray of Lee�s Summit, MO; sister, Clara Rinehart of Kearney, MO; sister-in-law, Betty Murray of Grain Valley.
