CLARA JOANNE HART
Clara Hart, 84, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 10:00am.
Clara was born on December 17, 1932 in her family home in Independence, MO to Clarence and Flora (Wolfe) Warman. She graduated from William Chrisman High School and then in 1952 married Jerome L. Hart. Together they owned a printing shop and raised their sons. Clara was a dedicated mother and spent her life caring for her boys. Until recently, she still would attend monthly lunches with her friends from junior high.
Clara’s survivors include her son Slade Dent of Independence, MO; brother-in-law Jim Baxter of Independence, MO; Sister-in-law Jacqualyn Kolosick and husband Bob of Independence, MO; brother-in-law Marvin Zeid of Houston, TX; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons Nicholas J. Hart and Kevin J. Hart, and her siblings. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
