Abigail Lea Hartman

Abigail L. (Thatcher) Hartman, 26 of Hephzibah, GA, formerly of Independence, MO passed away on Mon Oct 25, 2004. Services will be 10:00 am Thur. Nov 4, 2004 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial, with full Military Honors, will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 9:00 pm Wed. at the Chapel. Abigail was born on Mar. 11, 1978 in Independence, MO She joined the US Army in 2002 and had served at Fort Jackson, SC before being transferred to Fort Gordon, GA. She was a 1996 graduate of Fort Osage High School and had been very active in the School Band and other activities. She had a talent for doing word search books, and truly enjoyed them. She was a member of Susquehanna Baptist Church, where she was very active in the Church Youth Group. Abigail is survived by her husband, Steven W. Hartman and step-son, Michael Hartman both of Hephzibah, GA Her parents Lou and Terri Thatcher: brother, Bradley Thatcher and two sisters, Merideth Thatcher and Hannah Thatcher. Her maternal grandfather, Roger Pointer and maternal great grandmother, Doris Pointer all of Independence, MO. A paternal grandmother, Berniel Thatcher of Springfield, MO and several aunts, uncles and Cousins.
