Mary E. Hatfield

Mary E. Hatfield, 83, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Speaks Midtown Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Mary was born March 30, 1920 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Alex and Elizabeth Borisins. Mrs. Hatfield was preceded in death by her husband John F. Hatfield, in 1979 and son Richard E. Hatfield in 1994. She is survived by her sons Gary Hatfield of Independence, MO, John Hatfield (Sandra) and Steve Hatfield all of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren Christopher and Richard A. Hatfield, Angela Narcise, Melanie and Christina Hatfield; great-grandchildren Terrell and Jacob Narcise; 2 sisters Catherine Butcher of Kansas City, MO and Helen Boris of Lacanada, CA.
