Billy Lee Hatley

Billy Lee Hatley, (67) of Independence, Missouri passed away at home on Friday September 17, 2021. Billy was born on June 20, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to William Leroy and Mary Louise (Felton) Hatley. He worked most of his life as a Custodian for the Kansas City School District. He retired from the school district in 2012. He loved spending time with family and going to garage sales. Billy is survived by, his wife, Marilyn Hatley, his 3 daughters, Tonya McBride, Michelle Kiayani and Joy Garner, his son in law, Randy Garner, his grandson, Austin Garner, his sister, Linda Doss and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Billy is preceded in death by, his parents, William Leroy and Mary Louise (Felton) Hatley, his 2 brothers, Lenward Hatley, Johnny Hatley, his 2 sisters, Melba Brim, Wanda Foster
