Pat Haugmo, 64, of Independence, MO passed away December 28, 2006 at her home. Service are 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the chapel Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pat was born March 20, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to John W. and Betty J. (Agnew) Vinyard. For the past 20 years she was employed at Intrigue at Park Place Hotel. Pat was the rock of the family, always willing to lend advise, a shoulder, or a kick when needed. She would give the shirt off her back to someone in need and even make sure it was the right size and throw in a spare. The Christmas season was observed throughout the year around Pat�s home. Pat would go out of her way to make sure that no one was alone or forgotten on Christmas. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Susie Vinyard, and her husband Walter in 1989. She leaves a large family that will forever miss her; son Walter Haugmo and wife Teri of OK City, OK, brother John Vinyard and wife Linda of Stockton, MO, sister Judy Maldonado of Indep., MO, brother Michael Vinyard and wife Connie of Blue Springs, MO, sister Grace Buck and husband Loren of Sugar Creek, MO, sister Baby Jean Vinyard of Indep. MO, brother James Vinyard and wife Miranda of Indep., and brother in law Roger Radspinner also of Indep., MO. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, David Vinyard, Luis Maldonado, Julia Maldonado, Susie Maldonado, Mike Vinyard, John Daniel Vinyard, and Richard Vinyard.
