Pauline Hawkins

Pauline Hawkins, 89, of Independence died on July 6, 2006 at the Independence Manor Care Center. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton, Missouri. Pauline was born on November 26, 1916 in Carrollton, Mo. the daughter of Corbett and Alice (Bell) McCumber. She retired in 1981 as a Sales Clerk for Adlers in Blue Ridge Mall. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: one son Ty Hawkins and his wife Karen of Frankfort, Kentucky; a daughter, Judy Harless and her husband Tom of Kansas City, Missouri, a brother Dale McCumber and his wife Doris of Raytown, Missouri and a step brother, Melvin Bolinger of Carrollton, Missouri, Eight Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren.
