Daniel Hayden

Daniel A. Hayden, 68, Independence, MO passed away Nov. 24, 2018. Memorial services will be at 10 am, Friday, Nov. 30 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 6811 Shawnee Mission Pkwy #202, Mission, KS 66202.
Dan was born Jan. 2, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN and grew up there. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and also served in the Army National Guard. He worked at the GM Fairfax Plant nearly thirty years and was a member of UAW Local #31. He enjoyed fishing, camping, archery and bird hunting. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren.
Dan was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years Susan Hayden, of the home; son Patrick Hayden and wife Jennifer, Kansas City, MO; daughter Brenna Blue, Lee’s Summit, MO; son Chris Hayden and wife Kristina, Oak Grove, MO; sister Sue Melville and husband Rory, Lake Ozark, MO and nine grandchildren.
