Beverly Sue Hayes, 75 of Independence, MO passed away, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her residence. Cremation is planned with private family services to be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to Crossroads Hospice. Beverly was born March 30, 1938 in Springfield, MO to Lewis Howard and Mary Louise (Goudelock) Jackson. She had worked as an office manager for Mid America Cardiology for over 10 years. She was also a professional clown and performed under the name of Ms. Violet for a number of years. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the O.E.S. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bill Hayes of the home; a daughter, Marsha Rubin of Kearney, MO; 4 sons, Mike Lowry of Springfield, MO, Bill Hayes and wife Renee of Liberty, MO, Phil Hayes and wife Pamela of Lee’s Summit, MO and Todd Hayes and wife Kayleen of Overland Park, KS; 2 sisters, Mary Hippensteel of Buckner, MO and Patty Hippensteel of Paso Robles, CA; a brother, Jerry Jackson of Independence, MO; 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
