KAREN KAY HAYES
Karen Hayes, 65, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Karen was born on February 2, 1951 in Lincoln, NE to Byron “Bill” and Doris Cooper. She loved music, especially listening to Elvis, but most of all loved being with her grandchildren.
Karen will be remembered by her daughters Dena Lindquist of Independence, MO; Jennifer Lawless and husband Randy of Independence, MO; Traci Kidwell and husband David of Blue Springs, MO; brother Larry Bowman and wife Dora; and grandchildren Dylan Lawless and Kailyn Kidwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Taylor Lawless.
