March 16, 1925 — November 25, 2004

Adella Hazel (Davidson) Haynie, 79 of Independence, MO passed away thur. Nov 25, 2004 at her home. Services will be 10:00 am, Mon. Nov. 29, 2004 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, Sunday at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Eastgate Order of the Eastern Star. 3516 Blue Ridge Cutoff, Kansas City, MO 64133. Mrs. Haynie was born on Mar. 16, 1925 to Dale and Laura Davidson in Sheridan, MO and had lived in the Independence area since 1943. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed Sewing, doing crafts and reading. She was a Deaconess at the First Christian Church of Independence. She was Past Matron of Mt. Washington #423 Order of Eastern Star. She was a Charter member and Past High Priestess of Tarrara Court #83 L.O.S. She was also a member of the Independence Pioneers Daughters of the American Revolution. Hazel is survived by her husband of 56 years, Evart Haynie of Independence. Two brothers, Ralph Davidson and Allen Davidson, both of Worth County, MO and her sister, Margaret Flattery of Bonner Springs, KS and her twin sister, Helen Brawner of Newtown, PA. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
