Anna Lucille Heard

Anna Heard, 68, of Independence, MO passed away July 29, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the chapel with burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Anna was born September 15, 1948 to Lee and Mary (Evans) Wade. She was very interested in genealogy, and loved scrapbooking and gambling at the casinos. She also loved to travel, and was blessed to have recently gone on her dream vacation, which was a cruise with her family. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Heard Sr.; and two brothers, Arthur and Roger. She is survived by her four children, Dennis Heard Jr. and wife Kimberly, Stephen Heard, Theresa Lyon and husband Dave, John Heard; grandchildren, Ashley Young, Matt Lyon, Jessica Lyon, Nick Lyon, Nathan Heard, Amber Heard, Katie Heard, Jesus Reuscher and Abbie Heard; and three great grandchildren, Luca Heard, Aydon Johnson and Anthony Heard.
