William Heath

William “George” Heath, 57, of Independence, MO passed away on October 21, 2014. George was born on May 6, 1957 in Smithville, MO to Billy and Marjorie (Smith) Heath. George attended high school in Joplin, MO where he learned to weld, a trade that he practiced his entire career, until his retirement from Meritt Foods. George’s greatest passion in life was that of his family. Nothing gave him greater pleasure than spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also a fan of auto racing of any kind. Survivors include; daughter Sarah Harreus (Brian), Stephanie Heath (Keyronn) , and Ashley Heath; parents Marjorie Jo Heath and Billy Leon Heath; sister Kris Twitty (Dave); brothers Mark and John Heath; 7 grandchildren; and four legged friend “Charlie”.
