Aaron Heilig, 77, of Independence, MO passed away March 25, 2018. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Aaron was born June 25, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Harold and Corrine (Hester) Heilig. He received a PhD in Humanities at Canterbury College, UK, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam. He was a member of Cecille Daylight and the Ararat Shrine. In 2006, Aaron retired from Reece & Nichols. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Doris A. Heilig. He is survived by his children, Dennis Heilig, Cynthia Parsons, David Nossaman, Dana McMahan and Chris Yurgel; along with grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother, Joe Heilig.
