Barbara Joan Heinecke, 78 of Sugar Creek, Mo. Passed away Friday evening February 15th,
2019. Visitation will be 1:00 pm and the Memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday February 23rd at
Carson Speaks Memorial Chapel. Barbara was born on May l0th in Fulton Kansas. She was
preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Virgil L. Heinecke, her parents Joan and Robert
Hill, brother "Johnny" Hill, sisters "Rosalee" and Allen Krone, "Carol" and Jerry McMillan.
Sisters-in-law "Magdalin" and Dick Doescher, June Scadden, and Shirlie Heinecke. Survivors
include daughters, "Vickie" and Terry Thompson, Independence, Mo. "Sherry" Heinecke,
Versailles, Mo. Grandchildren "Jesse" and Jenna Weir, "Andy" Weir and Tori, "Ben" Weir and
Laura Peretic, "Theresa" and AJ Jensen, "Lori Kay" and Tom Murphy, "Melissa" and Michael
Clemmons. Great-Grandchildren, Phoenix Bryant, Bailey and Aubrey Jensen, Parker Clemmons.
Siblings, "Charles" and Ruth Hill, "Kay" and John Patton, "Brenda" and Dennis Baker and
Robert (Bobby) Hill. Brother-in-law Jim Scadden, Herry "Butch" Jr. and Joyce Heinecke. Many
beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Barbara loved to travel, first with her husband
and later with her brothers and sisters. She showed her love for family, friends and neighbors in
many ways. Barbara loved to cook meals, paint walls, plant flowers and help wherever there was
a need. She always had an encouraging and uplifting word. Barbara made fnends wherever she
went and gave them the same gift of making them feel special. She was loved by all who knew
her, and will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart
Association in honor of Barbara.
