Larry Lee Helmich, 63, of Lee�s Summit, MO, passed away, Thursday, June 9, 2005 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday at the St. Joseph�s Cemetery in Pilot Grove, MO. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the chapel. Larry was born June 23, 1941 in Salisbury, MO to Carl August and Nellie J. (Edwards) Helmich. Mr. Helmich had worked as a quality control engineer for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for 35 years before he retired in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling, spending time with his family. He was a graduate of University of Missouri at Columbia and had served 6 years in the Army National Guard. He was married to Judy Zeller on May 3, 1969 she survives at home. Other survivors include; a son, Erick Helmich and his wife Janine of Houston, TX; a daughter, Kelli Helmich Timmer and her husband Steve of Kansas City, MO; 2 brothers, Carl Jan Helmich and his wife Jean of Independence, MO and Bob Helmich of Salisbury, MO and several nieces and nephews. Donation may be made to the St. Mark�s Catholic Church Building Fund.
