Randall Dale Henry, 88, Independence, MO passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014.
Dale was born July 18, 1925 in Ridgeway, MO the son of Homer L. and Viola Bell (Endicott) Henry. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the South Pacific. For 23 years he worked for Rupert Die-Casting Co. and retired from Belger Cartage Co. after 23 years. Dale was a member of the Masons since 1982. He and his wife were long time members of Pleasant View Christian Church. Dale was united in marriage to Ember Tomlin on August 28, 1950, she preceded him in death on August 19, 2009. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Henry and Leland (Babe) Henry; sister, Betty Duxbury; and his parents.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Soliz and husband George of, sister-in-laws, Billie Tomlin, Phyllis Roberts, Charlotte Whitworth, Geraldine Baxter, Rosemary Morgan and Frances Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Pleasant View Christian Church.
