Herbert Brown, 74, was born February 19, 1950 to James C. Brown and Treaver (Cotton) Brown in Wynne, Arkansas.
Herbert received his high school diploma while serving in the army. He served two terms in the Vietnam war and worked construction until his health began to fail. Later in life he went back to school and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Pheonix. He attended the St. Stephen Baptist Church where he served as assistant minister under the leadership of pastor Eric Belt.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his sons, Orlando Munn and Zachary Brown; wife, Mary Brown; siblings, James Brown Jr. (Loretta), Robert Brown, Marshall Birdo, Jason Brown, Treaver Charles, Nancy Moore, Margaret Winters (Ernest), Keresia Brown, Sam Smith (Timothy), Gretchen Jackson, Pamela Cummings (Keith), Carolyn Valereal (Henry) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.
Herbert is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin Brown, Lawrence Brown, Kelvin Brown, Charles Brown, and George Birdo; sisters, Shirley Brown and Barbara Lagrene.
