Richard Lee Herington, 64, passed away on July 6, 2016. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Green Ridge Cemetery, Green Ridge, MO.
Richard was born on November 15, 1951, in Bailey County, Texas, to William Robert and Elsie Ellen (Stancell) Herington. He had been a resident of the Kansas City area for the past 40 years. He worked for the Jackson County Parks Department as a maintenance technician. He enjoyed being around people, and made friends out of strangers with ease.
He is survived by his 4 siblings: Jim (Shirley) Herington, Larry (Ruth) Herington, Melody (Mike) Lanier, and Marji McAllister; 5 nieces, and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, 1 niece, and 1 nephew.
