Netie Jeanne Hermansen

Nettie J. Hermansen, 81, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 25, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Sat. March 3, 2007 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1400 W. Sheley Road, Independence, 64052. Cremation. The family suggests contributions to the Canine Seizure Assist Society of North Carolina, Inc., 369 Cedar St., Mooresville, NC 28115 or Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Nettie was born Feb. 14, 1926 in Oil City, PA. She graduated from St. Luke�s School of Nursing in Racine WI and worked as a Registered Nurse until leaving to raise her family in 1964. Nettie lived in many different communities during her life. She enjoyed playing Bridge and golf. She was a Past President of the Women�s Club of Ft. Pierce, FL and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Nettie was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Hermansen in 1999 and daughter Ruth Elizabeth Hermansen. She is survived by daughters Jerrie Clark, Independence, MO; Kathleen Moore and husband Bill, Oil City, PA; sons Don Hermansen and wife Sharon, Mooresville, NC; Jim Hermansen and wife Lynda, Alden, NY; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
