Donald  Lawrence "Don" Herrick Sr.

Donald Lawrence Herrick, Sr., 80. passed away Nov. 10, 2014. Services will be 1:30 pm, Friday at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel. The family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy #200, Kansas City, MO 64114. Don was born Feb. 22, 1934 in Sedalia, MO. He attended Northeast High School graduated from Westport High. He was a delivery driver for Anheuser-
Busch and Double Eagle Distributors for thirty-three years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cook-outs with family and friends and trips to Las Vegas. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Don was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Herrick. He is survived by daughter Denise Herrick; sons Donald Lawrence “Larry” Herrick, Jr.; Mark Herrick, all of Independence, MO; Matt Herrick and wife Patty, Oak Grove, MO; sister Mary Higgins, North Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Haley, Hannah, Ryan, Jessica, Logan and great-grandchild Laney Decker.
