My best friend and love of my life was taken from me, his children, family and friends to quickly on February 15th. His death was sudden and so unexpected. These past 4 days have been the hardest, saddest days of my life. It has been amazing to hear from people all over the world how amazing he was and how he loved, challenged, embraced, and taught them through his life and love for them. I knew I had one of a kind but this truly confirms it. My life will never be the same, and I don't want it to be. I want to try and follow his example and "Live life to the fullest"
Yesterday some of his family and friends were able to say goodbye. We want to celebrate his life together on Thursday, March 1st at Longview Mansion, 1200 SW Longview Park Dr, Lee's Summit, MO 64081. It will begin at 5:00 pm.
We would love to have you join us. If you can't, please know that your post, texts, phone calls and private messages have meant so much to us. Hearing your stories will be memories we will always cherish. I was looking through a folder I knew he kept on his phone of quotes he would come across that meant something to him. One of the many was "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory" Dr. Seuss.
