Paulita Hiatt (Candillo)

Paulita (Candillo) Hiatt, 89 of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at North Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Rd. Kansas City, MO 64127, with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:30 until service time Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Sheffield Family Life Center.

Paulita was born April 18, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Juan Rios and Juana Francisca (Martinez) Candillo and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker and also had worked as a beautician. She was a KC Chiefs and Royals fan who enjoyed shopping, dining out and spending time with family. She was a member of the Sheffield Family Life Center.

Survivors include; a son, Richard “Rocky” Candillo and wife Dana of Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Michelle Hiatt of the home; a step son, Dr. Peter Hiatt and wife Kathy and their families of Texas; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Alayna, Marissa and Lauren and 6 great grandchildren.
