William Hibbs, 67, of Independence, MO passed away December 10, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO, 64052. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the chapel. William was born April 15, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. He served in the United States Navy, was an Eagle Scout and had a love for music, darts, and his 2 cats. William is survived by his 3 sons Bill Hibbs , Forrest Hibbs, and Christopher Hibbs all of Independence, MO; sisters, Iva Parker and Laura Reynolds of Kansas City; brothers Greg Hibbs of Independence, Mo, Steve Hibbs of Independence, MO, and Gerald Hibbs of Liberty, MO; grandchildren Paige, Kaitlyn, Cole, Caleb, Karley, Madelyn, and Wyatt.
