Lucy L. Higginbotham

July 16, 1921 — January 28, 2005

Lucy L. Higginbotham, 83, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday January 27, 2005. Services will be 2 pm Monday, January 31st at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Lucy was born July 16, 1921 in Kansas City, MO to Philip and Augusta Camerlynck, one of 12 children. Lucy is survived by her children, Gregg Higginbotham and wife Gail of Independence, MO; daughters, Sharel Mawby and husband Ray of Independence, MO, and Jandra Birkes and husband Stephen of Buckner, MO; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and brothers, Gustav and William Camerlynck.
