Steven High

Steven Edward High, 48 of Buckner, Mo passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Old Paths Baptist Church in Grain Valley, MO. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m., until service time at the church. Steven was born January 29, 1965 in Independence, Mo to William Edward and Alice Elaine (Henry) High and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Fort Osage High School in 1983. Following graduation he joined the US Marine Corps and proudly served from 1983-86. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known for his outgoing personality and his sense of humor. He had worked for General Mills Company for 19 years and was a package maintenance mechanic. He is survived by; his wife Melissa of the home; 3 daughters, Amanda Robbins and her husband Travis of Independence, MO, Arin Gaddie and her husband Sean of Independence, MO and Angela High of Buckner, MO; a son, Andrew High of Buckner, MO; his mother, A. Elaine High of Buckner, MO; 2 sisters, Sharon Sutton and husband Marvin of Independence, MO and Sondra Wagner of Buckner, MO and 3 grandchildren, Danyelle Hill, Peyton Robbins and Wyatt Robbins.
