Terry Highley

Terry Highley, 71, of Independence, MO passed away September 27, 2018. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 9th at 1:00 pm followed by memorial service at 2:00 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St Independence, MO 64055. Terry was born July 20, 1947 in Sweet Springs, MO to Carl and Maxine Highley (Daniels). After graduating high school, Terry joined the Army. Following an honorable discharge, began his 20 + year career as a security officer for the Federal Reserve. In his retirement, Terry enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, shooting commercial fireworks, riding his motorcycle, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include wife Ardyce Highley; 5 children; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister.
