Larry R. Hill, 55, of Independence, MO, died, Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at his residence. Services 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Westin, MO. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday at the chapel. Larry was born April 18, 1949 in Leavenworth, KS to Leo and Doris (Norris) Hill. He worked as a paramedic for MAST Ambulance Service. He had also worked as an E.R. Technician for North Kansas City Hospital and in the lab at Liberty Hospital as well as a volunteer for Smithville Fire Department. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the IAFF local #I-34 and the Kansas City Baptist Temple. He is survived by his wife, Margie (Shackleford) Hill of the home; his father and step mother Leo and Dorothy Hill of Camden Point, MO; 2 sons, Andrew Hill of Cape Girardeau, MO and Travis Hill of Liberty, MO; 3 step sons, Brandon McMillian and his wife Kyndal of Independence, MO and Jacob McMillian of Independence, MO and Ryan McMillian of Bolivar, MO; a daughter, Heather Carter of Stanton, MI; a sister, Martha Ann Mayes of Leavenworth, KS; 2 brothers, Ryan Hill of Pageland, SC and Richard Hill of Camden Point, MO.
