Robert Lee Hill, Sr.

Robert Lee Hill, Sr. 77, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, April 9, 2004 at his home. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, April 13th at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; with interment in Brooking Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Robert was born February 20, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to James Lewis and Myrtle Frances Hill. He was a Pipefitter with Local #533, a member of the Independence Masonic Lodge #76, a member of the Ararat Shrine, and the Knights Templar. Robert was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Hill; grandson, David Lee Hill, Jr.; and a brother, James Walter Hill. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Hill; sons, Robert Lee Hill, Jr. and wife Judy of Blue Springs, MO, James Michael Hill and wife Mary Ann of Lee�s Summit, MO, and Jeffrey E. Hill and wife Deborah Jan of Independence, MO; a daughter-in-law, Chris Bebout of Bates City, MO; grandchildren, Denise Ann Best and husband Alan, Shane Miller, Jason Hill, Courtenay Morris, Ty Hill, Ryan Hill, Nick Hill, Jenalee Hill, Kelly Rays Marshall, great grandchildren, Crichton Brac Hill, Addison Brac Hill, Avery Brac Miller, Jacob Aaron Morris, Andrea Nicole Best, and Jarrod Alan Best; a sister, Carolee Constable of Greenwood, MO
