Donald “Don” Hilton, 67, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was born to Jack E. Hilton and Virginia “Marie” Hilton on January 1, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri. Don married the love of his life Lori Antonucci on May 7, 1977. They went on to have three amazing children and raise numerous pets together as well as took in all his children’s friends like they were his own. Don was a former clown for the Shriners, as well as a part of their trike unit. He was a past Master of the Grandview Lodge and Past Patron of Eastern Star. He was a Master Pipefitter and worked extremely hard every single day to help provide his family with everything they needed and wanted. He also loved wood carving, fishing, hunting, and could fix anything he put his mind to. Don never met a stranger and was never short on advice he could give. He was strong on the outside but had a wonderful soft heart. More than anything Don loved his family (not just the 2-legged ones).
Memorial services for Don will be held at 5:30 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, Missouri 64055 on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Lori, sons; Scott (Cindy) Hilton, Patrick (Kelsey) Hilton, daughter Elizabeth “Liz” (Aaron) Morrow, four granddaughters Makayla, Ashlyn, Hailey, and Harper, as well as his faithful pup Autumn. His sisters Susan (Robert) Ward and Julie (Paul) Purnell. He is preceded in death by his parents.
