Dorothy Mae Hobbs, 91, of Independence, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Graveside service will be at 11:30am at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, MO. "Dorothy Mae said 'goodbye'!" She is survived by her daughters, Laura Hobbs and Myra Penney; and grandchildren, Mike Penney, Meta Dizmana and Jana Hobbs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hobbs; and sons, Charles Michael Hobbs and Danny Lee Hobbs.
