Anna Louise Hobson (Hobson)

Anna Louise Hobson, 89 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Rosewood Health Center. Services and a gathering of dear friends sharing memories of the life of one of God’s dedicated servants will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, April 28, 2016 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will follow services until 8:30 p.m. at the chapel. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, KS. Anna was born February 26, 1927 in Kansas City, MO and grew up in Kansas City and California and later graduated form Westport High School in 1945. She dedicated her life to Christian work, particularly with children and young people. She graduated from Central Bible College and continued her studies with a master’s degree from the University of Miami. Louise Became Minister of Education at Rockwood Baptist Church for 20 years and then moved to Nashville, TN to become editor of children’s material. After retirement Louise moved back to Independence and lived at The Groves until her passing. She was a member of Maywood Baptist Church..
