Frank W. Hodak, 84, Independence, Mo., died March 8, 2005 at Medical Center of Independence. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Sat., March 12, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. Visitation will be 7 - 9 pm, Friday at the funeral home. Frank was born Jan. 20, 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II where he served in the South Pacific Theater. Frank was the Territorial Sales Manager for Lennox Heating & Cooling and retired in 1985. He was a devoted dog lover and a huge football fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Chiefs. He played college football for the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Frank was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kay Hodak in 1966. He is survived by his wife of 62 years June A. Hodak, of the home; son Jim Hodak, Indep., Mo; sister Marge Lawson, Prescott, Az; and niece Kathy Gaume, Overland Park, Ks.
