Darrin Scott Hodges

Darrin Scott Hodges, 46, of Independence, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 26th at 2:00pm at Discovery Baptist Church, 1206 Pavillion Church Dr.; Grain Valley, MO 64029. Darrin was born May 10, 1972, to Darvin and Diane (Nelson) Hodges in Independence, MO. He attended VanHorn High School and has been employed as a mechanic for Hodges Auto in Independence since he was young. Darrin loved mud racing, hunting, Civil War history and crossword puzzles. He will be dearly missed by so many friends and family who love him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; his children, Dawson Hodges, Drake Hodges, Haley Pierson, Lillyn Holesworth, Danielle Hodges, and Jacob Hodges; his sister, DeEllen Lego and Tom Bohannan; and his niece, Ashley Lego.
