William Hodges

Bill Hodges, 83, of Independence, MO passed away on November 24, 2007 at the Fountains Living Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Bill was born on August 13, 1924 in Harrisonville, MO to Clyde and Glessie Hodges. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 45 years, Ellen Hodges. He is survived by one son, Doug Hodges; one daughter, Deborah Gipson; and one granddaughter, Carman Stalker.
