Glenn Ray Holloman, 86, passed away on September 1, 2021 and his wife of 63 years, Linda Beth Holloman, 81, passed away 7 hours apart, on September 1, 2021. They were residing at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri, where they had spent the past few years together after leaving their home at Lake Pomme de Terre. Glenn and Linda took extreme pride in their home and yard and were both very involved in their local Homeowners Association for over 20 years. They both enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and boating together. They were all about taking care of their family and each other, as family meant everything to them.
Linda was born on August 3, 1940, to Otho and Alvine Horne in Paragould, AR. Just like her husband, Glenn, she was also known as a hard worker. Linda was very family oriented, and a great homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She worked as a retail manager for Sears, Roebuck and Company for over 20 years. She was known as a very loving, accepting, and outgoing woman. Linda was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She was artsy and crafty and was known for creating adorable gourd birdhouses that she would share with family, friends, and neighbors. Linda loved painting, canning, and her vegetable and flower gardens. She enjoyed cooking and she was a member of the Classy Bloomers Garden Club in Bolivar, MO.
Glenn and Linda are lovingly remembered by their daughter, Jeana Walz; grandchildren, Justin Holloman, Camryn, and Baylee Holloman; great-grandson, Jonah Cowden; Glenn's sister, Sheila (Keith) Boyd, Linda's sisters, Shirley Douglas and Kathie (Donnie) Miles, numerous nieces and nephews, former co-workers, former neighbors and friends.
Glenn and Linda were preceded in death by their sons, Bradley and Derrick Holloman. Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Horne, Glenn Horne, Richard Horne, Phillip Horne; and parents, Otho and Alvine Horne.
