Cathy Holloway

Cathy Sue Holloway, 65, of Independence, MO passed away August 25, 2013. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, August 31, at East Independence Community of Christ Congregation. Cathy Sue was born November 7, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Earl and Arlene (Whipple) Hagan. She graduated from William Chrisman, which is where she first met her husband, Richard Holloway. She was a member of the East Independence Community of Christ, and served as a Priest in the Church. Cathy Sue had also worked for 35 years as a shipping and receiving clerk at Herald House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Holloway; one son, Joe Holloway; and sister, Emma Green. Cathy Sue is survived by her son, Chris Holloway and wife Sarah of Maricopa, AZ; two brothers, Mark Hagan and Michael Hagan; one sister, Martha Reid and husband Ken; four grandchildren; and two grand kitties. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservation Society or the Audbon Society.
