Fern "Penny" Holloway

Fern "Penny� Holloway, 100, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005. A memorial service will be 10 am Friday, April 22nd at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 9 am until service time at the Chapel. The family requests no flowers, and suggest contributions to First Presbyterian Church, or a charity of choice. Penny was born January 8, 1905 in McLouth, KS to Charles and Carrie Brown. She was a minister�s wife, serving in many churches. Penny was Director of two nursing homes in Sterling, KS and Kansas City, MO. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church, Independence, MO. Penny is survived by her son, Glenn H. Pinnell of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Trudy Jo Pinnell, Jeffry Lane Pinnell, Britt Ryan Pinnell, and Kerrie Leigh Nichols; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
