Dulcie Hord

Dulcie O. Hord, 86 of Independence passed away Wed. Jan 31, 2007 at the Groves Retirement Center. Services will be 10:30 am, Fri, Feb. 2, 2007 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, MO. Contributions are suggested to the Englewood Assembly of God Church, 10628 Winner Rd., Indep. MO 64052. Mrs. Hord was born on Feb. 14, 1920 to John and Margaret (Branstuder) Stephenson in Snider, MO. She had worked for Remington Arms at the Lake City Ammunition Plant retiring in the mid 1980�s as a Supervisor. Dulcie was a loving and caring person to everyone she knew. She enjoyed doing Cross-Stitch, Crossword Puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Englewood Assembly of God Church for many years. Dulcie was preceded in death by her husband, William Hord. She is survived by nieces, Marcia Armstrong and husband Dale of Independence, MO and Debi Goldsmith and husband, Ralph of Grain Valley, MO and by several great nieces and nephews.
