Hilda Horsley (Brabbs)

Hilda Horsley, 84, Blue Springs, MO, passed away April 26, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Sat., May 17 at Walnut Gardens Community of Christ, 19201 RD Mize Rd., Independence, MO 64057. Visitation will follow the service at church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Outreach International, P.O. Box 210, Independence, MO 64051 or Kansas City Hospice, 1500 Meadow Lake Pkwy., Ste. 200, Kansas City, MO 64114. Hilda was born Feb. 5, 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She was a member of the Walnut Gardens Community of Christ. She was a volunteer at Outreach International for the last ten years. Most of all she loved her family. Hilda was preceded in death by husband Henry W.J. Horsley, daughter Joan Brown, and grandsons Khabir Hassell and Benjamin Davis. She is survived by son Thomas Horsley and wife Brenda, Stockton, CA; daughters Doreen Horsley and husband Jerry Gard, Independence, MO; Rachel Horsley and husband Daniel Hassell, North Garden, VA; Barbara Davis and husband Timothy, Independence, MO; son-in-law David Brown, Blue Springs, MO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members
