Jule Howard

Jule Lee Howard passed away at 91, on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 19th, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be from 12:00-1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Mound Grove Cemetery.
Jule was born April 26th, 1921 to Charles Hubert and Bessie Irene (Livingston) Tignor in Independence, MO. She attended the local high school and later married to Jess Howard, Sr. Together they raised 6 children. Jule worked for Lake City Armory until retirement at age 65. However, her devotion was to her family. She enjoyed spending many picnics and holidays with her family. They will remember and miss her because of her friendly, loving, and outspoken spirit.
Jule was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; siblings, Charles Tignor, Jr. and Betty Roberts; daughters, Constance “Connie” Brown, and Carol Dagley; and her grand daughter, Erin Taylor. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Jule Lake and husband Don of Oak Grove, MO; son, Jess Howard, Jr. and wife Linda of Warsaw, Mo; son, Jerry Howard and wife Shelia of Odessa, Mo; son Jean Howard and wife Sandra of Warsaw, Mo; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
