Rex L. Howe

Rex L. Howe, 78, of Independence, MO went to be with God on Thursday, March 10, 2005. A memorial service will be 2 pm Monday, March 14th at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Visitation will be Monday from 1 pm until service time. Rex was born September 27, 1926 in Kansas City, MO and lived in the area all his life. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, and worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad for 26 years. Rex was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie Howe; daughters, Rexanne George and husband Ray, Kathy Olson and husband Howard both of Independence, MO; sons, Jerry Howe of Independence, David Howe and wife Shauna of Lebanon, MO; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
