James Dakota Hubbard

James Dakota Hubbard, 16, of Independence, MO died December 27, 2014 at Truman Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Sunday, January 4, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. James was born on August 26, 1998 at Truman Medical Center to parents Rosa Carreon and James F. Hubbard. He is loved by parents and five other siblings; Perla and Gustavo Carreon, Cheyenne, Shannon and Sarah Hubbard as well as grandparents, Donald Hubbard, Jimmie and Norma Cross. James was born and raised in Kansas City. He enjoyed weight lifting and karate, among other sports, but most importantly he found his escape in music and writing his own lyrics.
