Helen H. Hudgens

Helen H. Hudgens, 82 of Independence, MO passed away November 3, 2003 at her home. Services 1 pm Thursday, November 6, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 11-1 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the services. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Helen was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Center Branch Congregation and she loved her church family. She had worked at the Englewood Caf� for over 30 years retiring in 2002. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family. She was born October 18, 1921 in Bandmill, AR the daughter of George Lee and Adeline Faught Blankenship. She is survived by three daughters, Euva Cooper and husband Grover, Jonesboro, AR, Junie Brown and husband Terry, Lee�s Summit MO, Carol Benkovich and husband Mike, Ferrelview, MO, four grandchildren, Ricky Cooper, Clinton, AR, Roger Cooper, Ft. Worth , TX, Michael Benkovich, III, Kansas City, MO, and Leigh Ann Benkovich, Independence, MO, fourteen great-grandchildren, Daniel, Katie, Joshua, Anthony, Jac, Cara, Diana, Jacob, Elizabeth, Dalton, Haley, Derek, Ray and Rosie, three sisters, Loyce Floyd, Melbourne, AR, Joyce Floyd & husband David, Independence, MO and Lela Durham and husband Jack, Oak Grove, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Molly Beth Benkovich, Mickey Dale Smith and Michael Dean Smith.
