William E. "Bill" Humston

William E. "Bill� Humston, 76, Kansas City, MO passed away July 14, 2006. Services will be 2 pm, Wed., July 19, 2006 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; graveside services will be 10 am, Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of America.
Bill was born Feb. 23, 1930 in Camden, MO. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served on the Kansas City Fire Dept. for 26 years. He was a member of the KCFD Underwater Recovery Unit in the 1960�s. He was a member of Fire Fighters� Union Local #42.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Rosalee in 1978. He is survived by daughters Deborah Alt and husband Dennis; Cheryl Shipman; brother James P. Humston and wife Patricia, all of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Karen Bosarge and husband Michael; Michael Perdue, all of Lee�s Summit, MO; Jamie Wooten and husband Rich, Independence, MO; Christina Shipman, K.C., MO; great-grandchildren Kayla & Brooke Bosarge and Riley Wooten.
